Basic Match Types
· Hardcore Match - This match is the Basic House rules of EHW. Most matches are hardcore
ones. These matches can go anywhere in and out of the ring. But falls must occur inside the ring.
· Traditional Match - This is a normal wrestling match. Use of weapons of any
kind will end the match immediately in a disqualification. That‘s right, in this match type the match can end via DQ
and Count Out. Pins and Submissions can end the match as well. /li>
· Anywhere Falls Match - The basic of a Hardcore Match, only you can pin someone anywhere.
· Last Man Standing - Two Wrestlers beat the living hell out of each other until one
man can't answer the referee’s ten count.
· 2 out of 3 Falls Match - Pretty self explanatory, and after the first two falls there
is a ten count for the person that was pinned to either get back up to his feet or get back in the ring in case the fall came
outside the ring. Falls can come from pin, submission, DQ, count out, tap out, or knock out.
· Submission Match - Very simple, the first person that puts their opponent in a submission
hold and gets them to tap or yell “I Quit” is the winner. There are no DQ’s, count outs, or pin falls the
only way to win is through submission.
· Weapons Match - A dumpster filled with weapons is brought out to ringside and that
is all that there is. The match can end in pinfall, DQ, whatever the weapons are just there to make the match more interesting
and hardcore.
· Handicap Match - Here a team of two wrestlers takes on one wrestler. Or a team of
three wrestlers takes on one or two wrestlers. Handicapping the lesser teams.
· Triple Threat Match - Three wrestlers are involved in this match up. All three men
are in the ring at the same time, the first person get a pin or submission is the winner.
· Three Way Dance - This match also involves three wrestlers but this is elimination
style meaning that two of the three men must be pinned or must submit in order for the match to end.
· Four Corners Match - Four wrestlers are involved but there are only two wrestlers
in the ring at any given time. Two men go at it while to men stand in opposite corners and have to be tagged in by another
wrestler to get into the ring. This match is always done elimination style.
· Four Way Dance - All four men are in the ring at the same time. No DQs or count outs
in this match because the action tends to spill out of the ring and into the crowd. This match is can be done in either elimination
or one fall style.
· Double Jeopardy Match - This match involves four wrestlers with two matches going
on in the same ring at the same time. There is a total of three pinfalls involved in this match. Wrestle A and Wrestler B
can only pin each other and Wrestler C and Wrestler D can only pin each other. After the two pins the two surviving wrestlers
go at it in a one on one match. But other than that all four men can interact with each other just as if it were a four way
dance. Falls only come in the form of pin, submission, and/or knockout.
Table Match Types
· Flaming Tables Match - Tables are placed in and around the ring with bags that have
bottles of lighter fluid and Zippo lighters. The first person to light up a table and put his opponent(s) through it is the
winner.
· Barbed Wire Tables Match - Tables that are wrapped in barb wire are set up all over
ringside and one is in the ring. These tables are just add ons to a Hardcore Match. Win by pinfall or submission.
· Ladders and Tables Match - Ladders of all sizes are placed in and around the ring
as are tables. There is nothing hanging above the ring this is just a match where all hell is expected to break loose.
· Clockwork Orange House of Fun Match - There are three foot high posts connected to
each corner post of the ring. A chain connects all four of the posts and attatched to the chain are numerous weapons that
the participants in the match are free to use at anytime. There is also a thick and extra long chain that the ring ropes are
wrapped in that the wrestlers may also use to their advantage. What makes this a table match type is that under the balcony
of the arena are seven stacked tables and the only way to win this match is to bring your opponent up to the balcony and throw
them off through the tables.
Ladder Match Types
· Ladder Match - A ladder stands in the middle of the entryway and a title belt hangs
above the ring. The only way to win is to get the ladder, bring it into the ring, set it up, climb the ladder, and grab the
belt that hangs above the ring.
· Stairway To Hell Match - A ladder is standing in the middle of the ring and there
is barb wire or a weapon of choice hanging above the ring. The first person to climb up the ladder and grab the weapon can
use it. The match is won by pin fall or submission with falls counting anywhere in the arena.
· Razor Wire Ladder Match - A Ladder sits at ringside waiting to be set up. But there
is a catch...the ladder is wrapped in RAZOR WIRE! Literally covered in the hellish steel. The ladder match can now really
be a hardcore threat with this match.
· Tables Ladders and Chairs Match - Just like a Ladders and Tables Match but the differences
are the chairs are supplied and there is either a title belt or an object hanging above the ring and you must climb a ladder
and grab it. The first person to do this wins the match.
· Tables Ladders and Cages Match – There are ladders, tables, and chairs supplied
both in and around the ring. However there is also a 10 foot high cage supplied around the ring. The door is open and the
cage is strictly there to add some extra mayhem to this match. This qualifies as a ladder match because there will be something
hanging above the ring and above the cage and the only way to win is to climb a ladder and grab it after surving punishment
from the tables, the ladders, and the unforgiving steel cage..
· Tables Ladders and Cains Match – The chairs are removed from the equation and
replaced with Singapore Cains. Some are just regular Singapore cains, some are wrapped in barbed wire, some have clothes soaked
in lighter fluid on the end of them, and some are taped together to dish out twice the punishment. There is usually a title
on the line hanging above the ring in this match but if one isn’t on the line, the default weapon hanging above the
ring is a branding iron ready to be lit on fire and a lighter.
Cage Match Types
· EHW Steel Cage Match - A 10 foot high steel cage is attached to the ring and the door
is left open. Escaping the cage doesn’t matter, the only way to win this match is to pin or make your opponent submit.
Falls can count anywhere in the arena, if you can escape the cage.
· Barbed and Razor Wire Cage - A 10 foot high steel cage is attached to the ring and
is wrapped in barb and razor wire. There is no way in or out of the cage. The only way to win is to pin your opponent or make
him submit.
· Steel Henge Match - A UFC Octagon like cage is set up by the ramp way, weapons are
wedged into the chain-links of the cage. But this is not your Octagon Cage. Hell no, a roof covers the top of the den and
the door is wide open...leading to an octagon that goes around the den. Made with basically the same equipment the "outer
den" also has weapons on the walls of the cage as well as a roof covering. Trash cans are full of weapons at the four corners
(top, left, right, bottom) of the second den. Winner is the one who makes the opponent submit or knockout the poor SOB.
· Wargames Cage - Two rings are set up and a large cage is placed around them and has
a top but is not a hell in a cell cage. The rings are separated by five feet and there is an open doorway on a side of cage
that goes between the two rings and anything goes in the match. Minimum of four wrestlers are required of the match to take
place and the only ways of winning are by pinfall or submission.
· Rage in the Cage - A Hell in a Cell cage wrapped in barb wire, with two garbage cans
filled with weapons handcuffed to two turnbuckles of the ring. The key to the lock of the cage is hanging from the top of
the cage. The only way to win is to get a ladder from under the ring, climb it, grab the key, and unlock the door, and exit
the cage. In stipulation matches something may be substituted for the key like a title belt or contract.
· Clockwork Orange House of Fun Cage Match - A 15 foot high cage is set up and a chain
lines the cage just below the top. Attatched to that chain that goes around the entire cage are numerous weapons that are
free to and encouraged to use in and throughout the match. The ropes are also wrapped with a very thick and very long chain
that can be used in anyway. The ways to win this match are by pinfall, submission, or to beat your oppenent so bad that they
cannot answer a standing ten count.
· Elimination Chamber - You've seen it in the WWE, well now it has come to eHw. It is
a cage made of mostly chain. There are four holding areas made of steel and glass one connected to each corner post of the
ring. The cage attatches itself to the ring and part of ringside. It has it's own steel floor that connects to the top of
the ring elevating it above the arena floor. This match can only take place with six men with one man in each chamber and
two men starting in the ring. It is elimination style and eliminations can only occur by pinfall or submission. And since
this is eHw each person involved is allowed to bring in one weapon of their choice to use if they want.
Imported Match Types

dipped in glass. When the bell rings, all hell breaks loose. The Glass-Glued fists can be used in any manor, including low
blows, blows to the face, ANYTHING GOES!! (Puerto Rico and Japan)
· Barb Wire Bat 10,000 Thumbtack Match - A solid baseball bat with the end wrapped in
barb wire hangs off a pole in a corner of the ring as a box filled with 10,000 thumbtacks lays at ringside. The only way to
win is to put your opponent in the box of 10,000 Thumbtacks and to make the pin. The bat is just o make the match a little
more brutal than it already is. (Puerto Rico)
· Exploding Turnbuckle Match - The Turnbuckles have low Grade explosives in them, but
if landed on the right way, can do a lot of damage. This Kind of match usually accompanies a Barbed Wire Rope Match or Inferno
Match. (Japan)
· Explosions Match - Usually accompanied with barb wire ropes, a large barb wire wrapped
explosion board is placed in the ring laced with a small amount of C4. The loser is the man that is blown up. (Mexico and Japan)
· Barb Wire Match - The ring ropes are replaced with barb wire that is loosely tied
to the posts of the ring. They aren’t very stable, and can be easily cut with wire cutters which can make the match
just that more brutal. (Japan and Puerto Rico
and ECW)
· Beds of Weapons- It is an anything goes match that has beds of thumbtacks, nails,
barb wire, glass, and/or lightbulbs. Up to three of these can be involved in the match. These matches usually occur in Deathmatch
Title matches or Deathmatches in general. It has been most recently featured in XPW, a federation in California. (Japan and Europe)
· Indian Strap Match- In this match a thick leather strap is attatched to the wrists
of the two participants. There are no pinfalls, submissions, DQs, or count outs. The only way to win this match is to touch
the top turnbuckle of each corner of the ring in succession by any means necassary. This is strictly for one on one matches.
(India, Japan, Mexico)
· Dog Collar Match- A dog collar with a chain attatched to another is wrapped around
the neck of all the wrestlers involved. This is only to insure that neither wrestler can run off. The ways to win this match
are pinfall, submission, or knockout. Tag team matches with this stipulation are not only allowed but encouraged.(Japan, Mexico,
ECW)
Scaffold Match Types
· Scaffold Match - Tables are set up in the ring, and scaffolding is hung two stories
above the ring. The Wrestlers get in the scaffolding, and pound away at each other, trying to make the other fall through
the stacked tables below them. Let's hope no one is scared of heights.
· Thumbtack Scaffold Match - A Scaffolding Match, only the scaffold is a little lower
to the ground and each of the dozens of stacked tables are covered with hundreds of thumbtacks.
· Plates of Glass Scaffold Match - It is a normal scaffold match with one, no make that
two very dangerous catches. On the two length sides of the scaffold there are long and wide plates of glass suspended in the
air over the tables. The only way to win is to throw your opponent off the scaffold through the plate of glass and through
the stacked tables!!
· Exploding Ring Scaffold Match - There are no tables and the scaffold is placed 20
feet above the ring. The ring itself is laced with C4 explosive. The loser is the man that is thrown off of the scaffold and
is blown up by falling onto the exploding ring!!
· Free Fall Scaffold Match - No tables, no explosives, no tacks, or glass, it's just
a twenty five foot fall to the unforgiving eHw ring. There is nothing to break your fall except your bones so if you wanna
be able to walk away from this match when it's over, you better win.
Closing Match Types
· Boilier Room Brawl - Two Wrestlers enter the Boiler room of the Arena. Hardcore Weapons
will be placed in there, and the first person to actually get out, and shut the door on their opponent wins.
· EHW Dumpster Match - Time to take out the trash!! A large dumpster sits at ringside
and is loaded with weapons in it. Anything goes in this match to win simply slam your opponent into the dumpster once. Oh,
by the way did I mention the floor of the dumpster is covered in barbed wire and razor wire.
· Man in the Box Match - EHW's twist on a Casket Match. Only the casket is filled with
shards of glass, tacks, nails, and barbed wire. Like a casket match, the point of the match is to slam the box shut on your
opponent. Truly leaving the man in the box.
· Flaming Casket Match - A large casket is brought down to ringside with a canaster
of gasoline and a Zippo lighter sitting on top of it. The only way to win is to put your opponent into the casket, shut the
lid, soak the casket in lighter fluid, and light in on fire with your opponent still inside.
Major Match Types
· Electrified Barbed Wire Match- The ring ropes are replaced with reinforced barb wire
that won't break and only bends slightly. Inbetween the barb wire ropes on each side of the ring there are powerlines juiced
with 15,000 volts of electricity. Wires connect the powerlines to the barb wire so each time the barb wire ropes or powerlines
are touched a mini explosion will take place electrifying whatever touches it. The only way to win the match is by pinfall
or by not answering the standing 10 count.
· EHW Death Bed Match - The ring ropes are replaced with loose barbed wire. BUT, on
all four sides of the ring there are four different black wooden beds filled with hardcore items that stretch the entire length
of that side of the ring. One side of the ring has a BED OF MOUSETRAPS, one side of the ring has a BED OF BROKEN GLASS, one
side of the ring has a BED OF THUMBTACKS, and another side of the ring has a BED OF LIGHTBULBS!!!
· Exploding Ring Match - The ring is transformed into a thin wooden deck with razor
wire for ropes. It's scattered with panels of low grade explosives. Both men are blown up but it is the man that gets the
pinfall that wins the match.
· EHW Triple Fence of Extreme Match - The Triple Tier cage is just like the one in WCW,
and the rules are basically the same. Start out in the bottom cage, climb a ladder into the second tier, leave through a door
and climb up onto the outside of the third tier, where a belt, or object needed to win will be waiting. The differences are
that the three cages are three different kinds of hardcore matches and the ending is different as well. The 1st cage is a
barb wire match. The 2nd cage is an extreme weapons match featuring barb wire wrapped 2x4’s/ baseball bats, kendo sticks,
glass bottles, staple guns, sickles, scissors, spikes, and steel pipes. The third cage has the wrestler(s) signature weapon
attatched to each side of the cage, but is merely the launching pad for the ending. Because the only way to win is two throw
your opponent off the third cage through the STACKED FLAMING TABLES!!!
· EHW Chamber of Horrors Match - An Electrified Steel Cage, laced with all kinds of
weapons and rolls of barbed wire, and razor wire in and around the ring. A Hell in a Cell cage covers the electrified Cage
without a top on it. There are only two ways to win, either by pinfall or by somehow escaping the inescapable cage.
· eHw Hardcore Hell Match – There are no ring ropes in this match at all. The
near and far sides of the ring are have electrified barbed wire for ropes. The left and right side of the ring have nothing
at all and stretching the entire width of the ring are explosion boards laced with C4 covered with barbed wire, broken glass,
and nails. But wait, there’s more, because at the 15 minute mark the ring is set to be blown up by the explosives set
up under the ring!! The only way to win is by pinfall or submission.
eHw Matches
· EHW Stretcher Match - The most innovated match in eHw history. This is a match where
the only way to win is to hurt your opponent so bad that he must be taken out of the arena on a stretcher. But he has to make
it all the way to the ambulance waiting by the entryway. No Pins, No Submissions, No DQs, No Count Outs, No Rules in this
match at all.
· Walk the Plank Match - A hardcore match with wide wooden planks wrapped and covered
with barb wire form a bridge with the center of the ring apron and steel guardrail on each side of the ring.

sits next to the gravesite with a blowtorch. The only way to win, is to bury your opponent alive and to cremate him by lighting
him on FIRE!!!
· Born to be Wired Match- Reinforced barbed wire with a single lace of razor wire wrapping
the barbed wire ropes on every side of the ring. In there ring there are two barbed wire baseball bats as well as beds of
barbed wire in all four corners of the ring. And in the middle of the ring there is a bed of glass with lightbulbs within
it!!
· Caged Heat Match- The ring ropes are removed and a 15 foot high steel cage is all
that seperates the inside of the ring from the inferno of flames that surrounds the ring. This match can be won by pinfall,
submission, or lighting your opponent on fire. Oh, did I mention that the cage itself has been rubbed down. .with lighter
fluid!
· mOBSCENE Battle Riot- It's your standard single entry battle royal eHw style. Weapons
are provided throughout the match, two sides of the ring's ropes are wrapped in barbed wire, and the elimination part is a
little tricky and a lot hardcore. Ringside is surrounded with boards that stretch its entire length covered with barbed wire,
glass, and thumbtacks. Stacked tables are set up on one side, a flaming table is set up on another, a bed of lightbulbs covered
in glass is on another, and an explosion board is on the other. There is a break in the boards at the entrance section so
wrestlers can enter the ring. All of the provided weapons must be used and people must be eliminated by being driven on or
through the provided weapons, whether they go over the top or not. This happens only at the War of Attrition PPV, and by the
way at the fifteen minute mark, the ring explodes!
